Part four of six of Excellence Alliance’s review of common HVAC & Plumbing billing practices.

Scenario:  Will my prospects and customers like Flat Rate Pricing?

Consider this:

  • If you take your car to the dealer for a repair, do you like knowing the repair price before the work begins?
  • If you go out to your favorite restaurant, do you like knowing the price before you order?
  • Do you want a price from the dentist before he puts in those crowns?

Of course the answer is “Yes” to all three questions.  So why wouldn’t you apply that type of thinking to your business?

Excellence Alliance believes in giving customers the price for the repair before the work is done.  There are no smoke & mirrors in our industry.  Customers want to know the exact price.  Give them options and let them be in control of the process.  Guide them to the right answer.

When was the last time you got a complaint about a condensing unit price after the work was done?
